Be a part of our project FLUX, when we invite artists to join the two week bootcamp at Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium in august 2026

Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium invites artists of all backgrounds and experience levels to participate in the 2026 sessions of the Flux Project! 

About Flux project

Flux Project is a collaboration between Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium and Be Flat (Belgium), and explores artistic outreach in public and non-traditional spaces through peer sharing, interventions, and un-formal showings.​​

Flux explores across aestetics like dance, parkour, circus, music and theater, and uses artictic exchange and sharings as a way of exploring ways to develope artistic outputs to a public audience. 

The Flux Project emphasizes international collaboration, co-creation, and community engagement in urban environments., and is financial supported by Slots- & Kulturstyrelsen (The Agency For Culture And Palaces). 

Flux switches bewteen mapping, sharings and showings and this open call invites artists to take part in the first period of both sharings and showings. 

Program Overview

The bootcamp-period run from August 17-30, 2026, blending knowledge exchange, public actions, and presentations.

The base for the bootcamp will be at Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium in Holstebro (Særkærparken 144, 7500 Holstebro, Denmark)

Aug 17-22: Shared Flux:  Peer-to-peer sharing sessions led by Ward Mortier of Be Flat, focusing on workshops, method exchange, and engagement with contemporary circus and performance environments
Aug 17-19 held at NTL in Holstebro
Aug 20-22 held at KulturMødet Mors Festival in Nykøbing Mors 
Aug 23: Rest & Prep – Rest and prep for Flux Public sessions/interactions 
Aug 24-28: Flux Public – Develop and test public artistic interventions in non-traditional Holstebro locations
Aug 29: Showings/interactions at KALAS family festival in Holstebro
Aug 30: Thanks for now!

Who Can Apply

Open to performers, circus artists, dancers, theater makers, and interdisciplinary creators at any career stage. No prior connection to the project required; diverse practices welcome to enrich peer sessions and interventions.

You are also welcome to apply as a semiprofessional, student or similar. 

What We Provide

Shared accommodation in Holstebro.
Access to facilities at NTL and festival sites

Participants cover travel, sustenance and personal expenses.

Submit by May 8, 2026 to jenny@ntl.dk :

Short bio/CV (not more than 1 page).
Statement (300 words max): Interest in project, skills/practices to share, intervention ideas.
Optional: Links to work (video/images).

Selections notified by June 1, 2026. Limited spots; priority to active contributors.
