A Process in Search of Hidden Meanings
The work will focus on several aspects:
- the performers physical training
- the development of actions inspired by the use of an object
- vocal exploration: the discovery of an individual rhythm, spacial awareness and dynamism
The performer’s work evolves from the creation of personal material with the stick as a partner and culminates in a montage.
Throughout the development of this material the performer will weave it with texts, songs and the use of space.
The workshop aims at encouraging a personal process opening up hidden meanings.
Practical information

For 16 participants and 4 observers
Minimum space for 16 participants: 8 meters by 10 meters and 3.5 meters high
The organizer must supply a wooden stick to each participant (min. 150cm x 2.8cm diameter).
Preparation
The participants must each bring a text and a song they know by heart; a phrase extracted from an expression or nursery rhyme.
Language
The workshop can be held in English and Italian. For other languages, it is necessary for the organizer to arrange for the assistance of a translator.
