Ildfluefest 2022
Ikarus brings live music, performances and street theatre to the streets
Ikarus Stage Arts invites you to a three-day cultural festival that puts art, culture and communities in focus 1 – 3 September.
How can art and culture be used to bridge ethnic and cultural differences? With Ildfluefest, Ikarus Stage Arts, together with Holstebro Municipality and the Housing Social Integrity Plan in the Triangle, will create the best conditions for more children and families to be introduced to the varied cultural life we have in Holstebro Municipality.
- But we can’t do it alone! We believe in close collaboration and have invited people from all over the world to create three days of live music, performances, a culinary street market in the Trekanten, street theatre, circus, international guest performances from. Greenland National Theatre. The festival will take place in different locations in the city:
September – Nordic Theatre Laboratory – Odin Teatret, Særkærparken 144
September – Gågaden Holstebro, start at Nørreport at 15:00
September – Trekanten Holstebro
The Ildfluefesten is the culmination of the work of Ikarus Stage Arts and the Ildflueakademiets’s children in the Trekanten, where the aim is to create and celebrate new communities through art.
-“When we perform, we can create a connection between professional artists and ordinary people, and that interaction is both fun and interesting. The point is to show people as many different forms of expression as possible, and to show that there are things that can bind people together across backgrounds and countries. We hope it will be great and that we manage to create some new networks, says Carolina Pizarro.
All events are free, but it is important to book tickets for the performances on. 1 September, as places are limited. Read more and book tickets at odinteatret.dk
Ildfluefesten is supported by Holstebro Municipality and Vestforsyning.
