Closing the Gap er et ENCC-program, der sigter mod at bygge bro mellem sociokulturelle centre og lokalpolitik. Det handler om at skabe et frugtbart og potentielt transformerende samarbejde mellem sociokulturelle centre og lokale myndigheder.
En af programmets nøgleaktioner er organiseringen af seks rundbordssamtaler i forskellige europæiske lande, hvor kulturcentre og lokale kulturaktører, lokale myndigheder og internationale gæster samles for at diskutere og dele udfordringer og bedste praksis, samt studiebesøg og matchmaking-initiativer.
Den tredje rundbordssamtale i Closing the Gap-programmet afholdes af ENCC-medlemmet Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium i Holstebro, Danmark, fredag den 23. februar 2024.

Speakers
Piet Forger has been the head of the department for cultural affairs at the city of Leuven, Belgium since 2015. He is the initiator and vice president of Vitamine C, a Flanders-based network of cultural professionals.
Irene Ropolo is involved in co-creation of European projects and, in particular, in systematising skills, knowledge, opportunities and objectives.
Kristian Krog is the managing director and co-founder of the independent Danish cultural centre Maltfabrikken. For the last 15 years he has played a central role in transforming an abandoned factory into an international institution.
